The 2017 Christmas Holiday Shelf

Well, here we are, almost half-way through December, and I’m finally getting the chance to share my 2017 Christmas Holiday Shelf! Better late than never, right?!

This year, I had several large pieces I decided to use, instead of many smaller ones. I like the effect I ended up with! What do you think?

So all in all, just five pieces that take up the entire shelf!

I’ve had these reindeer for several years now. I can’t remember exactly where I got them…but I THINK maybe Beall’s?

I normally keep them at the base of our Christmas tree for an added decor item, but this year, since we have 2 16-month-olds who are VERY interested in the Christmas tree, I decided they were better off up high where little hands couldn’t reach!

The greenery I used is from the dining room chandelier at our old home. I had previously used it to style the chandelier, but here in the new home, the chandelier presides over the formal dining room turned play area…and it just looks odd styled! So I re-purposed!

I picked up the cool “joy” sign to use in my holiday photo shoots for my photography business, and then, of course, I had to make use of it!

One of my favorite things about where the shelf and the Christmas tree are in our new home is that they almost reflect one another.

It’s like walking through a hall of all things Christmas!

Are YOUR Christmas decorations up?!

Due to the amount of comments from all of my wonderful readers, it is not always possible for me to respond to each one. However, I absolutely do read them all, and if you’d like to address something specific, or have a question for me, please don’t hesitate to email me at I will respond to your email as soon as possible! Thank you for visiting the blog!

  1. I will admit that my Christmas decorations are still up! It’s so cold out that I really just need something to make things a little brighter and they do that for me. Loving all the red in yours!
