Just under a week until Thanksgiving, my FAVORITE holiday! Are you ready?!
I’m hitting the “excited” stretch now. I’ve been looking down the barrel of “I have WAY too much to get done before Thanksgiving” for a few weeks now, but at this point, I think I’m fairly set! And I’m here to share a few helps with you so you can be fairly set, too!
My parents are in town for a week and a half, so of course, I needed to make sure my house was ready for them!
Here’s how to make sure YOU are ready for house guests, too!
Well, here we are at the beginning of another month. The month of DECEMBER, no less! I’m still having a hard time swallowing THAT one!
Nevertheless, it’s time to look back and see what the top five posts here on The Road to Domestication were last month!
5. Free Christmas Printables You NEED! – This was a brand new set of Christmas printables that I created just for this season! They’re still totally free, if you haven’t gotten the chance to download them!
I added more things to my calendar for December last night…and almost had a panic attack. A mild one. Just teesy weensy, you know. But still. The feeling started to rise up where I started thinking, “How on earth am I gonna get all of this done…” So I closed my planner and took a HOT shower – all better!
I know the panic will probably return, so when it does, I will be prepared – with plenty of planning tools! 15 FREE PRINTABLES, to be exact! And I wanted to share them with all of you!
So let’s get started! If you’d like to have any of these for yourself, simply click on the text below the image for the download! (They have each been created by ME, and I give you permission to take them!)
Can I just start with this one? I call it a “Christmas” prayer, but it’s really for all of the holidays! It’s the perfect way to kick things off!

This next one is great if you find you’ll have houseguests during the holidays!
Right now, here on the blog (and on about 25 other blogs, too!) there’s a huge event happening: The Ultimate Cookie & Goodies Virtual Party & Giveaway!
You can join in the party by CLICKING HERE! Link up your holiday goodies recipes, holiday printables and even enter to win $350!
It’s a celebration of all the best parts of the holidays, so it’s the perfect time to share some awesome Christmas Printables! I created them to help myself, by getting organized in a “pretty” way! (Because I will write things down and stay more organized much better if I can do it “pretty”!) I know, I know. I’m such a girl! But see if you don’t agree with me!
The Pantry Supply List
I tend to have a hard time keeping straight what I have for holiday baking and what I need if I don’t have a list like this. Then I end up with three bags too many of pecans and not enough white chocolate chips…or vice versa.
Have you made YOUR Thanksgiving menu yet? It IS November, after all!
If you were with me here last year on the blog, you will remember that I took an entire week and did a series called “The Tastiest Thanksgiving EVER!”
A great group of my blogger pals all submitted their favorite Thanksgiving recipe, and there were photos and printables galore! It was fantastic!
So this year, since there are so many new people here along The Road to Domestication (hi there, newbies!), I figured that I’d remind everyone about the series, and give all the links to those posts and recipes in one spot! How about that?! As a matter of fact, I have literally prepared your entire Thanksgiving menu for you, right here! (Well, except for the turkey!)
So let’s get going!
