I’ve been on a big lavender kick these days. You ever do that? Get hooked on a particular smell? Even now, I can smell my lavender essential oils diffusing across the house, and I LOVE it! What if everything around this house could smell so good? Even the bathrooms! A girl can dream, right?!
I mean, I do the best I can, but it’s no secret that cleaning the bathroom isn’t my favorite task. That’s okay – I’ve found something that makes it much easier to clean my least-favorite-to-clean area of my home, and it’s name is Mrs. Meyers!
In fact, one of my favorite things to do is scrub down my bathroom sinks with Mrs. Meyer’s Tub & Tile (the lavender scent, of course!) and then wash my hands with the Mrs. Meyer’s Hand Soap in lavender, as well! These products have really made me WANT to clean our bathrooms, if you can believe that. And there’s a few other ways I can talk myself into cleaning the bathrooms:
Make it a game: Cleaning the bathroom always feels like it takes forever, but you’d be surprised how little time tasks actually take. I like to set a timer like my mom used to do and see how quickly I can complete each task. For example, it only takes one minute to wipe down the counters and sink — and makes a huge difference in how clean our bathroom feels. Who knew?
I received an email some time ago from a blogger friend of mine, letting me know that a fantastic influencer program she was already a part of had been opened to new bloggers! I jumped at the chance to be involved, and a little while later, I received an email from Megan over at ePantry, welcoming me to the fold!
Now, the first thing you need to know is that ePantry is now Grove Collaborative. Grove Collaborative’s mission is to help everyone create a healthy, beautiful environment in the home. Grove Collaborative grew out of a simple belief: The best natural, healthy and effective products for your home & family should be the easiest to get. So…they deliver it to you!
I received my first shipment of Grove Collaborative products, and I’m so excited to share about them with all of you!
I love to clean. I really do. And I love the end result. But one of my favorite things to have nice and squeaky-clean is the oversized step-down tile shower in our Master Bathroom.
But it’s no easy thing to clean. All the tile, all the grout. It has the potential to get really gross if I don’t keep a handle on it, that’s for sure. And I’ve just been using a bleach bathroom cleaner to do so.
But then the other day I breathed in too much of that cleaner and had a nice little coughing fit. It took me about 10 minutes to regain normal breathing capability. And I’ve gotta be honest, it kinda scared me a little bit!
So when blogger Pheeby Snow contacted me about an article on eco mold and mildew cleaning products, I certainly wanted to know more, and I wanted to share the info with all of you! So, here’s Pheeby!
Cleaning is a time-consuming activity and it might be quite tiresome, yet it is important not only for the pleasant appearance of your home, but also for your health. This is why it needs to be done regularly and taken quite seriously. I am utterly convinced that everyone has faced the challenge to remove mold and mildew from his or her home. And I say challenge, since these filthy fungi are really difficult to cope with. In the following text I am going to discuss several types of cleaning products and more particularly the most ecologically-friendly ones.
