Happy September, all! I can hardly believe it. By the end of this month, the house will be decorated for Fall, we’ll be planning Halloween and Thanksgiving and then CHRISTMAS. WOW. We gotta make time slow down, people! So, as is customary around here, when we hit the first week of a new month, I like to look back on the previous month to see what was “trending” on the blog! Without further ado, here are the top five posts for the month of August: 1. How to Deal with a Dirty Dishwasher – It’s always important to remember to keep the “cleaning machines” clean, too! 2. On Organizing Car Compartments – Yes, my organization extends beyond my home, and so can yours!
3. A Unique Way to Organize Your Spices – This solved my space issue! Can it help you?
4. Tips for Keeping Your Bedroom Clean & Tidy – There’s nothing better than the peace that a clean bedroom brings!
5. 10 Back-to-School Photo Ideas – This was, by far, the favorite photo from this post! Did YOU use the idea?
Another month gone by! I hope you caught all of the above posts! Which one was your favorite?
Haha, I love the back to school photo ideas. My husband and I definitely celebrated the day they went back!
I’ll bet! 🙂
The tips on keeping your bedroom clean and tidy was picked as a feature at the Pretty Pintastic Party!
And my dishwasher bit the dust in August! We’re at the beach this week, but my new one will be delivered on Wednesday of next week and I’ll make sure and keep your tips handy! 🙂
Yes, thank you, Alli! That one seemed to be a fave! And yay for a new dishwasher!!!
Cleaning the dishwasher, which is something I had never given any thought to. Fortunately, I don’t have one at the present time.
Oh, then you’re all set!
I love how the couple is high-fiving as their child is boarding the bus. They are probably really elated to have some quiet time for themselves. Great ideas. Love the high resolution images.
Ha! Yeah, I’m sure they’re excited!
The high five blog is my favorite. Making sure the kids are safely on the bus and enjoying some time with others.
Agreed, Tami! 🙂
I’m off to check up on how organize car compartments!
HA! Hope it worked for you, Corinne!
Cleaning the dishwasher is essential. I’ve learned that through the years! The post was great!
I’m glad you enjoyed it, Liz!
My favorite was the spice organizer but I loved those Back to School pictures also. I cannot believe it is September already! Where does the time go?
I don’t know, Shirley! I wish I knew how to make it crawl…
I love the back to school photo ideas and the spice organizer. Great round up of posts 🙂 .
Thanks, Sahana!
I love what you did with the spices. I think it looks awesome, but for now I’m sticking with my new spice organizer which I love!
Ooo, that sounds like fun!
What a great August!
I enjoyed the back to school photos as well as the spice organization tins
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
Yep, that’s still my favorite bts photo! You did have some great posts last month. Looking forward to what you bring to the table this month 🙂
Thanks, Theresa! Hope I don’t disappoint!
The dishwasher post hits close to home for me. My husband spent several HOURS cleaning ours (taking parts out and everything.) It was pretty disgusting and horrifying to see what we’ve been “washing” dishes in.
Oh, that’s scary, Jaime! I’m glad he got it taken care of!
You always have the best organizing tips and cleaning tips.
I try, Becca, thank you!
Looks like I need to spend some time reading on your blog … my whole house needs some organizing! Definitely “getting there” since it took a dive when I was pregnant with my daughter and pre-term labor started, not to mention her very “needy” first year of life. But I still have quite a ways to go! In time ….. one thing at a time. 🙂
Goodness! You’ve been busy! And yes, one thing at a time, for sure!
That back to school photo is hilarious and probably the most universally representative of all back to school pictures!
I’m sure so, ha!
SUmmer just FLEW by. MAke it stop! 😉 Love that back to school photo!
I know…if I ever figure out how to slow down time, I’ll be a millionaire!
haha I love that back to school picture! I remember the spice organization. I loved that post.
I’m glad you enjoyed!
That back to school photo is hilarious!!! I do the same thing with my spices…funny. 🙂
Ah, a kindred spirit!
They were all awesome posts except I missed the one about keeping your bedroom tidy. Need to go read it as I just finished tidying up my bedroom after what seems like days!!!!!
I have a bit of bedroom tidying to do today, too!
I love all your organization posts. I definitely need them now that school is back in session and things are calming down. I actually will have time to organize.
It’s a good feeling, right?!
I was just commenting to my husband about how the holidays are just around the corner. Before you know it, it will be New Year’s again.
I know, it’s hard to believe!!!
YAY!! Another wonderful blog with great organization posts! I love it! This is my first time posting on your blog and I can tell by this post that I am going to like your blog a lot!
I loved all the photos – although the back to school high five pic was my favorite – and can clearly see why these posts were your most popular.
I am looking forward to seeing your upcoming posts!
Aw, thank you, Mindy! You’re welcome here any time!
Love the back to school photo. Most parents can definitely relate!
Very true, Helene!
Great idea to do a top 5 article!
I looooove the picture of your point number 5! Yesterday I wrote a short article about my kids going back to school yay!
Thanks, Amaia! It seems as if you’re happy about those kiddos being back in school 🙂
I love the car organization and back to school photo ideas. The spice organization is a cool idea too.
Thanks, Erica!
Ooh, I am going to have to check out all of those, especially the one about a clean bedroom. I need that one!
I think we all do, Stefany!
Great roundup of your posts. I enjoyed reading back then the one about tips on keeping the bedroom clean.
Thanks, Marika!
The back to school picture is great. For me the first day was bittersweet as my son started kindergarten. We just took the typical first day pics.
Oh goodness! Hope he’s doing well!
I think I need more of you in my life! I’ve been so off the chart with my organization skills lately – in the negative zone that is. I love that back to school picture! Wish I would have done something like that!
Oh, you are so funny! I write organizational posts to keep my own self organized LOL
Spices are so hard to keep pretty. They’re all different sizes, shapes, etc. Any tips to help with organizing them nicely is a-okay in my book.
Mine too, Rosey!
I really need to check out the car organizing one! My car is a total mess! Love the back to school photos one!
I hope you enjoy, Nikki! 🙂
I love the car organising post – that has to be one of my favourites of last month 🙂 x
Thanks, Sarah! I’m glad you liked it 🙂
Love the last picture! Too funny. The car organizing is great. My vehicle is less than organized to say the least!
I’m glad you liked it, Ashley!
That bedroom looks lovely – and so relaxing! I hate when our room gets messy!
Me too, Kendall! I find it hard to sleep!
I love that BTS photo! What a fun idea. I definitely felt like that the first day of school 🙂
LOL I don’t think you are alone, Mariana!
How do you pick your top 5?
Google Analytics 🙂 It tells me what the most-viewed pages are for the month!
Missed a couple of these posts! Love the idea of using pencil cases to keep the clutter at bay in the car. =)
Oh, I’m glad you like that one, Marielle! 🙂
HA! I love that back to school photo. That is awesome.
Definitely true to life, eh?! 🙂
What a great month! I especially love the spice idea. I have yet to do it, but I do love it!
Thanks, Melissa!
I seriously loved every one of the posts that you reviewed here! Can’t wait to see what September rings you!
I’m glad you enjoyed, Ashley! September = one word: BUSY!
