If there’s one thing that 2020 has shown my husband and I, it’s that our drinking habits have increased. You laugh, but I’ll bet yours have, too.New Product Review: Amora #coffeesubscription #teasubscription Click To Tweet
COFFEE, folks, I’m talking about coffee! And if you’re like me and you don’t always care for hot coffee, then tea, let’s include tea, as well.
Over the past few months, as we’ve dealt with the insanity that has been 2020, most days I find myself needing just one more cup of tea. And I find my husband coming out of our office (where he works full time) for just one more cup of coffee. Apparently it calms us? Or we *think* it does. So when I heard that I could get a variety of coffees and teas delivered directly to our home on a regular basis, well. It sounded like the best thing to happen in 2020, as far as I’m concerned.
Amora customers enjoy a very healthy variety of fine coffees (four blends and four flavors) as well as artisan teas (six organic blends) that can be fitted into a completely customizable subscription delivery. Change your selections, quantity and shipping frequency at any time, or even pause if need be. Choices, choices, choices! Thankfully, Amora chose for me and sent me several of their offerings to try for myself. Let’s talk coffee first!
I sincerely enjoyed the Elegante blend. This one had a bit of sweetness to it, which I tend to prefer in my coffee, yet not enough sweetness to delete the intensity, which I also appreciated. The Vigorosi was also intense, but in more of a surprising way – I could have sworn I tasted lemon…and I did! Lemon, dark chocolate and caramel – what a combination of flavors! It totally worked.
One of the unique facets of Amora is that the company puts their coffee beans through nine stages of coffee roasting (not the traditional three) where their beans are blasted under temps from 464-527°F for up to 30 minutes. That’s some seriously intense prep! And did I mention that the final product is packed in foil-lined bags, while still warm, to protect the flavor and aroma?
Tea next! And it’s like Amora read my mind on this one. Jasmine and Ginger Lemongrass.
I typically don’t do much green tea, because it tends to upset my stomach, but somehow with this one, the Jasmine factor disarmed the indigestion factor. Such light flavors in this – super calming, too!
Moving on to the Ginger Lemongrass, let me just say that I’m a HUGE fan of ginger teas, and this one definitely did not disappoint! The flavors were balanced to perfection, and this one was excellent hot AND cold.
I absolutely love the fact that each tea bag is hand-assembled in the USA in small batches, and that each tea bag consists of 100% biodegradable materials. The amount of care that goes into the product is obvious.
Speaking of care, I also love a company that gives back, which really seems like second nature for Amora. Amora is a huge supporter of Project Waterfall, and is currently supporting a project to bring clean water and sanitation to over 10,000 people in the remote Jabi Tehnan district of Ethiopia. WOW. Amazing work for a good cause. Mad props to them!
In the end, I really don’t see how you can go wrong with Amora. High quality product that fills a need for many in the crazy age we currently live. Offers plenty of options and flexibility. Gives back to those who need it the most. It’s a win no matter what!
