Unpack as soon as you can and try to keep clutter to a minimum. You can always change things around later if need be, but in the first instance, organizing your belongings should be treated as a priority.

When you live in shared accommodation, you may not give as much thought to home security. When you live alone, however, you can feel quite vulnerable.
