Introducing: Grain-Free Dog Treats, from Bil-Jac!

**PLEASE NOTE: While Bil-Jac’s Farmer’s Bounty DID provide me with this product to review at no cost, I was not in any way paid for my review. The following opinion is hereby my own.**

Most of the time, when a box arrives at our home, it’s for one of the humans in residence. Even so, Taffy the white doggy and CoCo the black kitty are always enthralled. Taffy, because anything crinkly makes her immediately think of food, and CoCo, because she wants to try to shove herself into the box.

Well, Taffy happened to be in luck here recently – one of the packages was just for her!

The lovely folks at Bil-Jac sent me a bag of their new grain-free dog treats!

If you’re like us, your pets are part of your family. That’s one of the reasons why I LOVE Bil-Jac – they make sure the food that you give your furry family members has been created with just as much care (and way less nasty additives) as the healthy food you put in your human body! And since February IS “Love Your Pet” Month (did you know that?!) there’s no better time than now to make sure their insides are well taken-care of.

The key ingredients of Bil-Jac’s grain-free dog treats are chicken, chicken liver and sweet potato. Now, I don’t think I’ve ever offered Taffy chicken liver, but she LOVES regular chicken, and she begs for sweet potato (baked or straight out of the can!) so I had an idea that she was probably gonna like these quite a bit. Check her out in the video below! Plus,

Bil-Jac also offers other dog treats such as their Original Liver TreatsGooberliciousLittle-Jacs and Breakfast Jacs!

Plus, a variety of foods for special needs dogs, adult dogs and puppies, too!

As in nature, Bil-Jac includes the chicken organs in their foods, which help supply essential amino acids. They also use steam-rolled oats (the only grain in the food) to supply energy and soluble fiber! The cage-free chicken is sourced within 100 miles of their plant, and the high quality ingredients are also cooked with controlled heat to help prevent amino acids from heat damage. (Taffy has actually reviewed some of their food, as well! CLICK HERE to see that post!)

And as far as our Taffy is concerned…

She’s VERY serious about her recommendation, too. (Honestly, she was annoyed that I was making her sit when she knew full well the cat was being let out into the yard, HA!)

So don’t hesitate to check out Bil-Jac for your furry family members!

  1. Whenever a package arrives at the house, I can see a glimmer appear in my children’s eyes. It disappears quickly when they realize it’s a water filter or something they don’t care much about. But they’d love to get Bil-Jac treats for our pup. And I’m sure my dog would be the most thrilled out of all of us.

  2. I love finding grain free treats for our dogs. I accidentally gave them treats with grains the other day and they were so gassy afterwards! I am not making that mistake again.

  3. This is a great product! Thank you for letting me know about this grain free dog treat. My dog’s vet has always reminded me to refrain from feeding my fur baby products with grain. This looks like a delicious treat I can give my sweetie.

  4. Your dog is so adorable! I’ve never heard of bil-jac before, so I will have to check them out! I have 3 pups that could use some new treats!
