**PLEASE NOTE: While Bil-Jac’s Farmer’s Bounty DID provide me with this product to review at no cost, I was not in any way paid for my review. The following opinion is hereby my own.**
The other day was an exciting day at the House of Campbell. I received a box in the mail! (Now, that’s not so much unusual, but it was what was in the box that was exciting – it was dog food!)
Normally, my hubby gets excited about packages arriving, because it tends to be food that he tends to get to taste-test. He was a little disappointed that this particular package wasn’t for him but for Taffy the dog!
And Taffy was absolutely enthralled!
“Um, excuse me. I can smell that and I like it. Can I have that, please?” (She’s very polite!)
Since I am a PetSmart shopper, and Bil-Jac’s Farmer’s Bounty is sold exclusively at PetsMart, I had seen this brand before, but I didn’t remember having seen Farmer’s Bounty! So I did a bit of research to see exactly what it was that I was going to feed our dog.
I learned that Farmer’s Bounty is packed with wholesome ingredients! 20 pounds of fresh, cage-free chicken are used to make every single 24-pound bag of food! As in nature, Bil-Jac includes the chicken organs, which help supply essential amino acids. They also use steam-rolled oats (the only grain in the food) to supply energy and soluble fiber!
Farmer’s Bounty is made one batch at a time to help retain nutrients, goodness and flavor. The cage-free chicken is sourced within 100 miles of their plant, and the high quality ingredients are cooked with controlled heat to help prevent amino acids from heat damage!
I must say, I was pretty impressed with the ingredients and the care that were included in this dog food!
So I gave Taffy just a taste at first to see what she thought.
She definitely approved, so I filled her bowl…
(She wasn’t too thrilled about me giving her a taste and then making her wait for more, can you tell?!) When I finally gave her the go-ahead, she chowed down!
This in itself proved to me how good the dog food must be, because Taffy rarely eats all of her food in one sitting. And she wasted no time with Farmer’s Bounty!
Taffy received (and approved) a bag of the Adult Recipe Farmer’s Bounty…
…but there are also options for puppies, small breeds and large breeds!

You can also find them on Facebook —> HERE <— (They’re new to Facebook, so make sure you head over there and give them a “like” and let them know you appreciate what they’re doing to keep our doggies healthy and happy!)
In the end, Taffy gives two paws up (which is the best a dog can do without falling over) for Farmer’s Bounty!
What do YOU think of the product? Would you try it for your furry family member?
I wonder if my Milo would like this. I want to get some now and try it with him 🙂
I’ll bet he would! Taffy was unusually pleased LOL
Ha! She definitely looks impressed! Very sweet pictures 😉
LOL Thank you 🙂
Going by the pictures looks like Taffy had a great meal.
HA! Yep, she was rather impressed 🙂
Just by seeing the pictures I can imagine how Taffy enjoyed the food. Taffy looks so cute 🙂
Aw, thanks 🙂 She IS a pretty cute lil’ girl!
Your dog is so cute! My dogs go crazy over their treats, I will have to check this out for them.
I’ll bet they would love it!
What an adorable dog!
I don’t have any pets but I do have someone who does and could try this out with her pup.
Keep in Touch(ed),

I hope your friend’s dog enjoys!
What a cute dog you have! Adorable and so well behaved.
Aw, thanks, Anna LOL (I think I caught her on a good moment LOL)
First of all, Taffy is adorable! I really like your review of Farmer’s Bounty. Sounds like it’s made with lots of wholesome products. And it’s obviously that Taffy loved it! Great review!
Thanks, Alli! 🙂 She IS pretty cute…most of the time LOL
Taffy is just adorable! She probably really enjoyed having something different and to eat (without knowing how nutritious it is). Sounds like a great food for our little fur babies.
Yes indeed, Shirley!
This is so cute! I love your dog, and would love to try those farmer’s bounty. Great information!
Thanks, Eng, glad you enjoyed!
What a cute puppy! I would definitely try this for our dog. Some other dog foods are just terrible for them.
I know it I never realized how bad some of them are until I started researching for this blog post!
Taffy is a cutie. My dogs are so fussy so it would be great to see if they would like this.I do not think they have this brand in the UK.
Oh, probably not, Kay. But hopefully they will be in the UK soon!
Aw so cute and she looked like she was excited to try it. I have cats so not sure they be happy getting dog food but it does sound like a good brand.
LOL Well, my cat is not so smart to be able to tell dog food from cat food – she will eat anything! But your cats are probably smarter than mine 🙂
It sounds like a good product. I have two dogs and I think I will find this and give it a try. Especially since Taffy approves. 😉 Your little one is adorable!
Aw, thanks! I hope yours enjoy this food, too!
Oh my goodness! What a cutie pie!!
Thank you, Kendall!
Taffy is so cute, and so polite! My dogs are more of a “gimme, gimme, gimme” variety.
HA! Well, I caught her at a good moment, I think 🙂
I don’t have a furry family member, but if I did, I’d certainly give it try. Taffy knows best!
Well, she certainly thinks so LOL
Taffy is so cute! And quite photogenic I might add 🙂
Aw, thanks, Annie! She makes me work to take her picture, for sure! HA!
Your dog is so cute.I love the look on her face when she was waiting for you to fill the bowl.
You do know they like it if they finish it in one setting. 🙂 I’m glad you found something for your cutie that she loves. 🙂
Taffy is one cute puppy and it sounds like she loves her new food!
Thank you, Helene! She does! 🙂
I’ll run this brand by my hubby – he’s the one always choosing the dog’s food and being careful about the ingredients. Looks like a good option.
Taffy is cute! I love your Taffy-approved seal too. We haven’t had a dog in about 4 years but this sounds like really good dog food!
It really is; they put lots of care into what they make!
Our dog is becoming so picky and it is not a good thing. We are planning of getting her a different food. Will check this out.
I hope she’ll like this!
This sounds great! We don’t have a dog, so I don’t know much about dog food, but this might be something I would look at if we had a dog.
Yes, most of us treat them as a member of our family – I know if you had one you’d want it to eat healthy, too!
It’s cool that they have different versions for different ages and different sizes. That makes so much sense!
I know, that really helps to narrow things down for consumers. Sometimes the options are just overwhelming!
I had no idea dog food could be so healthy! I know my little ones enjoy new good when they finish the whole bowl, too.
I know, I’ve learned more about dog food here recently! This is a good one, for sure!
I haven’t heard of that brand, but I like that it only has oats (no other fillers) and the first few ingredients are things I actually know like chicken!
Exactly! I don’t like feeding our pets anything I can’t pronounce LOL
We don’t have pets, but I know the feeling of utter excitement when a box arrives. That’s how my 3 year old is!
