One of my favorite things in life is keeping my home clean and cheerful! I really do enjoy spending a Saturday morning cleaning, or finding inspiration for some pretty decor online and then creating something new! And one of the places where I’m finding a lot of great inspiration online these days is called Hometalk.
The awesome thing about Hometalk is, it’s not just for design inspiration – you can find full tutorials on DIY projects and crafts, everything home-related, obviously! You can also ask questions of the community, and see what experts who answer you back have to say! And of course, you can follow people, and they can follow you, too!
(If you’re thinking that I’m using a lot of exclamation points, well, I am, because I’m excited about the site!)
I was excited about the site even before Liz from Hometalk contacted me, but after a chat with her, I got a little more excited. Liz had seen a post I had uploaded to Hometalk (oh yes, you can upload posts, as well!) and wanted to see if I could build a “clipboard” around that particular post: Three Things I Did This Weekend That Made My Life Easier
So I started building a clipboard, and I called it: Home Hacks to Make Life Easier! Hometalk liked it so much they made me a fantastic graphic to share with all of you! Check it out!
Yes, I found all of the above (and more!) over at Hometalk! So, if you haven’t been there yet, you definitely want to go check it out! And if you’re already there, make sure you follow this clipboard of mine! I’ll be adding even more “home hacks” as I find them!
Due to the amount of comments from all of my wonderful readers, it is not always possible for me to respond to each one. However, I absolutely do read them all, and if you’d like to address something specific, or have a question for me, please don’t hesitate to email me at Kristen@theroadtodomestication.com. I will respond to your email as soon as possible! Thank you for visiting the blog!
I haven’t heard of Hometalk before, but it sounds very cool! I’ll check it out!
I love little home-tips from real people. I love the AHA moments
Congrats!!! I’m still finding my legs on Hometalk, but I can’t figure out how to follow you. I shared my DIY Pumpkin the other day and it has almost 400 reshares so far. I agree! It’s a great way to find awesome projects, new blogs to follow and to grow your own readership. I’m loving it!
Looks terrific, Kristen!
I have never heard of Hometalk but it sounds and looks great!
Thanks for sharing with me!

I just read the used tea bags to clean a stained toilet. That is interesting and I wonder how that works…. I ‘ve also read the same thing with Coca Cola.
