If you’ve been around this blog for any amount of time, you know that I’m a GERM-O-PHOBE.
It’s true. And I make no excuses for it. It is what it is! I am who I am.
So when Jerin from Pressure Washer Today contacted me regarding an infographic that would share with all of us the top 5 most dangerous bathroom germs…well…you know how you KNOW something is going to be terrible, but you can’t help but look at it? Yeah. Pretty much. I KNEW this was gonna be nasty. But I just needed to look at it.
And then I needed to share it with all of you! (I know. Happy Monday, right?!)
To soften the blow, here’s what Jerin had to say…
Germs are something that you deal with on a daily basis, and many of them are either harmless or easy to prevent from accumulating in your home. However, your bathroom is a unique environment because of the moisture and also that bathrooms tend to be small. They can therefore serve as a breeding ground for germs, some of which can be hazardous to your health.
Once you know what the germs are, you can better prepare yourself to use the right cleaning techniques. This will keep the dangerous germs at bay so that you can make your bathroom healthier.
Read the information on the following infographic to learn about the germs that can invade your bathroom so that you can prepare to avoid their dangerous effects.

Are you grossed out yet?! I feel the need to arm myself with some bleach and go clean my bathrooms…that I just cleaned on Saturday…but they probably need it again, at this rate!
Were you familiar with all of these germs? What is your favorite bathroom-cleaning tool to use in your home?
Due to the amount of comments from all of my wonderful readers, it is not always possible for me to respond to each one. However, I absolutely do read them all, and if you’d like to address something specific, or have a question for me, please don’t hesitate to email me at Kristen@theroadtodomestication.com. I will respond to your email as soon as possible! Thank you for visiting the blog!
I really didn’t want to spend my Monday (and every day for the rest of my life) scrubbing my bathroom, but you’ve talked me into it. Gross! Disgusting! But could not look away! Great info!!
Eeww! Who knew there were so many different kinds of bathroom germs. Just gave a good thorough cleaning last night but now I feel the need to do so again. I am so glad they gave some natural cleaning products for cleaning cause that is what I like to use.
And now I must go completely dissinfect my bathrooms. Thank you. 😉 Thanks for linking up to the Blgogers Brags Pinterest Party. I have pinned your post to the Bloggers Brags Broad.
And I just realized I spelled disinfect wrong! Looks like I’m off to a great day.
Great info! And I love the infographic! Did you make that?
I always clean with natural cleaners and follow by spraying peroxide on the shower, sink and toilet.
I just cleaned my bathroom tonight. I found hot pink mildew in my shower! Gross!
And you reminded me I forgot the door handle! Off to remedy that now!
This is the stuff of nightmares! YIKES! Wash those hands and clean those bathrooms!
I so wish we didn’t have to worry about this stuff but this is so helpful. Thank you for sharing! I am not the biggest germ-o-phobe there is (I personally know people who surpass me in that area) but I do get easily grossed out. Definitely pinning this one! As always, it great co-hosting the #HomeMattersParty with you!
Okay, I’m strapping on my gloves and getting to work. Ewww! I’m totally a germ-o-phobe, too!! Thanks for this information though. It re-inspires me to clean my door knobs and make my kids do a better job at washing their hands. Thanks again for a great month of co-hosting with you at #HomeMattersParty
Thanks for this infographic. I never would have thought to clean the door knobs. Love cohosting the #HomeMattersParty linky with you.
I was looking for a person to reference in a future post, and I knew exactly where to come! lol
I haven’t been here in WAY too long!
