When it comes to household chores, does it feel like they’re never complete? Especially at the end of winter, when we’re just completely OVER the dreariness that’s been our lives the past few months, and SO ready for some sunshine?

Vacuum the carpets
It may sound like the most mundane of cleaning tasks, however, vacuum cleaners by Bissell can make even the mundane – such as removing the dust and dirt from the area’s carpets – an easy step to having clean and tidy floor spaces. After all, who doesn’t love those vacuum lines after a job well done?
And welcome to The Road to Domestication in the year 2018, folks! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year’s with friends and family! Let’s dive right in now, shall we?
I FINALLY feel like I’ve got my office together in the new house. (I keep saying “new house” – we moved here in May, can I still say that?) Anyways, it’s taken me that long to get everything arranged in the office (and decorate in there) the way I want it so I can walk in the door and breathe a sigh of peace instead of one filled with frustration. One of the hardest things of having a home office that you actually do work out of is getting it to “feel right”. Know what I mean? Ugh, do you ever feel like you need one whole floor to organize all your office furniture, electronics, supplies and decoration? All you need is good designing and decorating skills and even the smallest of spaces can feel and look spacious and airy. Here are some examples!
I’m in the midst of a redecoration of our Master Bedroom. You know the kind: nothing is really “wrong” with anything, but one day I just walked in and was just…tired of it.
We’ve had the same bedroom decor scheme since we got married 4+ years ago. Somehow it just started to feel…dark…to me, for some reason. So I decided to change it up a bit.
Before I did anything, I photographed it – because it’s no fun to redecorate a room if there’s no before-and-after, right?! So check it out…
Welcome to our Master Bedroom!
