It’s no secret that I LOVE organization. Organization of all kinds, really. But I especially love to contain or corral things. In my mind, sometimes “clutter” can be corralled in a beautiful way! With, for instance: a tray.
A tray for all your kitchen soaps and vinegars and oils.
A tray for all your lotions and powders and scents.
Trays for organizing papers, accessories and office supplies.
Just looking at those lovely photos makes me want to clap my hands! Eeeeekkk!!! So much pretty and functional organization!
So when One Kings Lane
contacted me and asked me to do a post on TRAYS, I was all about it!I blitzed over to their website to pick a few faves…and apparently, I have a particular tray that I lean towards…
So, I have a question: When you’re decorating your home, how do you begin? Do you see a room in a magazine and try to recreate it? Do you call your interior designer? Do you pick a favorite color and run with it? Or do you stumble upon some kind of piece you love and design the entire room around that piece?
Ever thought of combining how you decorate a room with how you style your wardrobe?
That thought never crossed my mind, until Emily from One Kings Lane contacted me a proposed pairing my favorite statement piece of jewelry with an oh-so-fabulous chandelier.
The more I thought about it, the more intrigued I became. And the more I thought that I could totally design an entire room around a fixture, with the inspiration of some jewelry! Here’s what I mean…
**PLEASE NOTE: While One Kings Lane DID provide me with the request to review their online resources, I was not in any way paid for my review. The following opinion is hereby my own.**
Do you have a favorite chair at your house? (My hubby has been on me about getting him a recliner so he can have a chair that’s only his! Oh dear…) But more the kind of chair I’m speaking about is what is called a statement chair. Something like this one.
I don’t have one of these, but I have several spots around the house in which I’d like to place a cool statement chair like this one!
So when One Kings Lane contacted me regarding helping them introduce their new Home Decor Resource Guide via a statement chair, I was intrigued! But I wasn’t sure I had a chair to use for the process.
