Well, I finally got my Fall garden planted, y’all! (I had to stop and put up a fence around it, due to the fact that a certain small white dog who just happens to live at my house was continually DIGGING EVERYTHING UP.) I’ve bested her, though! (For now…I think.)
Anyways, I’ve got carrots, spinach, strawberries, cauliflower, kohlrabi, beets and cabbage growing! (And a little experiment with some red potatoes…we’ll see how that turns out.)
In the midst of prepping and planting, I was remembering how much I enjoy gardening. Life has thrown me some pretty stressful curve balls of late, and there’s something about getting on your hands and knees and moving soil around that really rivals a session with a therapist! (It tends to be cheaper, too!)
