New Product Review – PurpleTrail Planners! (And a Discount for YOU!)

I. LOVE. PLANNERS.

There’s probably no one reading this who is really surprised by that statement! HA!

I really do love them! Over the years I’ve had a wide variety of planners…hardcover, softcover, no cover. I’ve used my phone, I’ve used my computer, I’ve used my email. I’ve even used a Palm Pilot! Remember those?!

What I’ve learned over the years is that I personally do BEST if I’m actually using a physical planner – putting pen to paper. And I’ve used a few different ones: Erin Condren, Plum Paper, Day Designer, Martha Stewart…one I found at Walmart…) I’ve learned that I like to be able to customize that planner a bit, and that if it’s PRETTY, I use it more. (That sounds ridiculous, but it’s totally true.)

So when Tamese from PurpleTrail contacted me and asked if I would be interested in reviewing one of their planners…UM, YES! Sign me up, please!

Tamese provided me with a lovely little code that allowed me to hit up the PurpleTrail website and design my own planner. How FUN is that!? I must admit, at first I was a tad bit overwhelmed – the options seem endless, and I wasn’t quite sure where to start! But I stopped and wrote a few priorities down, and the next thing I know I had designed this:

I decided to try one a tad bit smaller than I normally use, because I’ve been on a simplification kick these days, so I figured, hey, if I can do a smaller planner, that’s awesome! This one is 6X8, but they also offer a larger one at 8.5X11, and a cute little one that’s only 4X6! You can customize each of these for daily, monthly or weekly uses for moms, students, teachers, brides, or just good ol’ regular people! (We all need some good ol’ regular people in our lives, don’t we?)

New Product Review – Keepsake!

Anyone familiar with this blog knows that, not only do I love photos, but I also AM a part-time photographer. As such, I’m a pretty big proponent of having photos taken, especially this time of the year. But one thing I am NOT good at when  it comes to photos is FRAMING them.

I’m not sure why. I mean, I HAVE the photos. I have photos from professional photographers, from my own cameras and from my phone! I can print any of them at any time. And I’ve got a few framed prints sprinkled around the house, but I would LOVE more! Somehow I just never find the time to search for good frames, or print out the photos, or place them in various locations among my decor. It sounds so simple. I have no idea why I don’t do more of it!

So when Kasi from Keepsake contacted me and asked me to review their product, I was intrigued! Simply put, Keepsake is an app that allows you to effortlessly print, frame, and deliver your photos. In fact, you can use the Keepsake app, or visit Keepsake.us. I decided to try it for myself to see just how it works!

I chose this pic of my hubby and I from a photo session we did right before we found out we were pregnant with the twins.

Of course, I had never framed any of these photos, so I decided that now was as good a time as any!

I’m here to say that Keepsake totally makes the process easy. From uploading your photo to being able to choose a small, medium or large size frame, to FREE SHIPPING…I honestly don’t see how their services can be beat!

I uploaded my photo, chose my frame and chose the size I wanted the picture/frame to be.

The Perfect Night’s Sleep…with Perfect Linens!

**PLEASE NOTE: While Perfect Linens DID provide me with this product to review at no cost, I was not in any way paid for my review. The following opinion is hereby my own.**

I don’t have too many “favorite” brands in use around our home. I like a variety of decor pieces, appliances and furnishings – you’ll find a little bit of everything if you come over! But there ARE several things that are crazy important to me when it comes to our house. And one of those items would be: SHEETS.

I’m big on sheets, y’all. I never thought I would be a person who cares about thread counts and deep pockets and oversized flat sheets, but I totally am. I look at it like this: my hubby and I both work some pretty high-stress jobs. Sleep is incredibly important to us! And the more comfortable we are, the better we sleep. And the better we sleep, the better we can handle what’s needed of us on a daily basis. So…sheets. Sheets are important!

I was actually on the hunt for a new set of sheets for our bed a few weeks ago when I got an email from the lovely Catherine from Perfect Linens.

The company name grabbed my attention instantly, because I felt like that was exactly what I was on the hunt for: the perfect linens! Turns out they have the right to be called that, too. The folks at Perfect Linens are literally sheet experts! Their website specializes in sheets ONLY (no other products) and they have more than 30 years of experience selling sheets to some of the biggest retailers out there!

So, you get to be a sheet expert by selling a lot of sheets, eh? Well, not exactly. Perfect Linens actually TESTS for the best sheets using instruments and fabric analysis, such as companies like Nike and NASA would. No joke! Check out their laboratory!

NuNaturals Product Review & GIVEAWAY!

**PLEASE NOTE: While NuNaturals DID provide me with these products to review at no cost, I was not in any way paid for my review. The following opinion is hereby my own.**

When Ron from NuNaturals contacted me last month and asked if I wanted to test a few of the company’s new products, I was glad to do it! I had heard good things about NuNaturals, and was eager to see if the products lived up to their reputation!

If you ask me, most of us eat too much sugar. Would you agree? Did you know that Americans consume 130 pounds of sugar every year? Our 1822 predecessors ate under 10 pounds of sugar a year. 130 pounds a year means about three pounds a week. That equals about 3,550 pounds in an average lifetime—approaching two tons of sugar.

NuNaturals is out to change all of that!

NuNaturals is based in Oregon, and has been around for 25 years! Their products are all-natural, free of MSG, soy, milk, sugar, synthetics, artificial colors or flavors, saccharin, aspartame, sucralose and artificial sweeteners. While their flagship brand is Nustevia, a natural sweetener, the company also offers a variety of other products, including but not limited to green teas, gourmet vanilla extracts, and even pure ground cinnamon!

I must say, when the box arrived, I was a tad bit overwhelmed! Why? Because here’s what Ron sent me:
