On Making Pumpkin Bread CUTE! (Recipe Included!)

One of my normal activities you can find me immersed in each Fall is making Pumpkin Bread. I love the consistency of the dough, the ease of the preparation, and the way the house smells while it’s baking! Of course, I also love to give it away. And apparently, people enjoy receiving it, because folks started asking me a few weeks back when I was going to make my Pumpkin Bread.

I decided to make it a bit different this year, in that I wanted it to be…CUTE. I happened to be in Michael’s for another matter entirely, when I came upon these lovelies:

Cute little loaf pans, aren’t they? And you don’t have to CLEAN them! The best, right?! I grabbed some nifty little cardboard tags, twine and those wooden leaf stickers (yes, they’re made of WOOD!) and went to town!

I had never cooked in cardboard before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I think they turned out okay!

I seriously feel like I can smell these through the screen right now!

I took a few minutes to pretty them up, and ta-da!

I think I achieved my goal of CUTE – what do YOU think?

Like I said, I found all the wrapping treasures at Michael’s, and here is my own recipe for Pumpkin Bread!

  2. I’m one of the few that really don’t like pumpkin, so this time of year I get tired of the recipes pretty quickly. Although I guess bread is tolerable.

  3. Oh my, I certainly can smell them, too! These turned out really cute and what a great gift for those who patiently await. Would you send us one? LOL! But we love pumpkin bread here, too and I have already made a big batch of it earlier this Fall!
