New Product Review: Basic Invite

It’s that time of the year, folks! We are officially in the midst of “the holidays”, and one of the most important things on MY list this time of year is: Christmas cards. Here’s our card from last year:

Not too bad! I ran short on time and had to pound these out at Walgreen’s. They ended up being your basic cheap Christmas cards, but I thought they were cute! (And YES, I did include the crying child. Because she cries a lot and I figured, why not share. HA!)

Normally I like to order my cards online, just so I can get them perfectly customized, and take my time with all of the options…you know how it goes. The only thing with online ordering is, you’re never quite sure exactly what you’re getting, right?

So when Sierra from Basic Invite contacted me and asked if I wanted to check out their products, I agreed! Even better? She told me she would send me samples! (In fact, ANYONE can get samples with Basic Invite, which totally takes the guesswork out of ordering online!)

So I headed over to Basic Invite’s website and started to look around. Oh wait, this wasn’t just holiday pic cards at all! Wedding invites and accessories, baby announcements, stationary, business cards and even websites! Hey, why not throw a holiday shindig so I could order some holiday party invites, right?! I figured I could work with this, no problem!

I discovered that Basic Invite’s site is one of the few that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. (Foil cards are also an option, and are available in gold, silver, and rose gold, flat or raised!) Once you select a design, you can change the color of each element on the card. With over 180 colors to choose from, you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it. Which is a huge win for me and definitely sets them apart from almost any other online stationery company, as far as I’m concerned!

Oh, and did I mention there are over 40 different envelope colors to choose from?! With so many options, customers can easily make their envelope match the invitation. All of Basic Invite’s envelopes are peel and seal so the envelopes can be closed quickly and securely. They even have an address capturing service that allows customers to share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media to request their friends and family’s addresses. The addresses are stored in the customer’s account and can be selected during the design process. Recipient address printing is also offered at no cost on all card orders!

I chose a few simple samples because I wanted to SEE what I was getting, and I was NOT disappointed!

These are the real deal, folks! Beautiful design and amazing quality, they showed up in my mailbox in mere days, carefully packaged so as not to bend any corners or put a dent into any of the quality. The paper is excellent, the colors are spot-on, and the envelopes are the perfect match.

If you’re looking for THE place to order your holiday cards from this year, look no further than Basic Invite. In fact, right now really is the best time to start your order, because basic Invite is offering 15% off with coupon code: 15FF51
