My Name is in Print Once More!

Some of you know that my first job out of college was as a magazine editor. The company I worked for had 13 publications at that time, and I managed about 40 writers and contributors, as well as functioning as the director for the company’s PR Firm branch. I worked about 80 hours a week for a few years – I was always exhausted, but it was all SO MUCH FUN!

Eventually, I knew I couldn’t continue to function in the high-stress environment, so I took a “normal” job, which led me to my current full-time work in insurance. But I’ve always looked back on my time in publishing with fond memories. Such a rush! And after all, it was that time that spurred me on to begin this blog!

So when the publisher of the company I formerly worked for reached out to me at the end of 2015 and asked if I would be interested in writing a monthly column on organizing for one of their publications, I jumped at the chance! Which means, my name is in print once more! Exciting stuff!

If you’d like to read my column, “The Road to Organization”, feel free to visit www.focusplantcity.com, or click below! (I’m on page 56 in this particular issue!)

And the cool thing is, if you blitz through the magazine, you can get a great feel for just how neat my hometown of Plant City, Florida really is!

Enjoy!

Due to the amount of comments from all of my wonderful readers, it is not always possible for me to respond to each one. However, I absolutely do read them all, and if you’d like to address something specific, or have a question for me, please don’t hesitate to email me at Kristen@theroadtodomestication.com. I will respond to your email as soon as possible! Thank you for visiting the blog!
