Five for Fall…PLUS Fall Home Tour!

I’ve held back as long as I could manage! I LOVE Fall! And, living in Florida, I kinda have to make Fall happen inside my house on my own, because the weather doesn’t normally cooperate OUTSIDE the house! No worries, I think I’ve covered it this year!

So, step one: The Fall Holiday Shelf! I’ve already shared that with you, but if you missed it, you can see all the details by CLICKING HERE!

Now, step two: I’ve been over on Pinterest pinning Fall-like recipes since LAST Fall, and I picked out five that I just had to try for all of you! Without further ado, here are my Five for Fall!

1. Pork Chops with Apples & Stuffing (CLICK HERE FOR THE RECIPE!)

2. Roasted Fall Vegetables (CLICK HERE FOR THE RECIPE!)

3. Sweet Potato Biscuits (CLICK HERE FOR THE RECIPE!)

4. Upside-Down Pumpkin Pie (CLICK HERE FOR THE RECIPE!)

5. Baked Apple Rings with Cinnamon Sugar Butter Icing (CLICK HERE FOR THE RECIPE!)

All of the above photos show you exactly how mine turned out, and the verdict is: they are all WINNERS! I mean, I give each of these recipes five stars! (Or however many stars is best – that’s what I give!)

Level of difficulty on each one would come in at a medium, and all of my testers LOVED everything! I’ve gotta say, I was kind of surprised, because, normally in a group of recipes, there’s at least one dud, right? Not this time!

The good news for YOU is, I’ve tested all of these recipes, and you will LOVE them!

And, step three: my Fall Home Tour! (I did it video-style this year – so, come on over and take a few minutes to walk through my home with me!)

Do you have any favorite Fall recipes to share? What about your home? Are you a Fall decorator?

Due to the amount of comments from all of my wonderful readers, it is not always possible for me to respond to each one. However, I absolutely do read them all, and if you’d like to address something specific, or have a question for me, please don’t hesitate to email me I will respond to your email as soon as possible! Thank you for visiting the blog!

  1. Your post is making me drool! I swear I can practically smell the goodness from my side of the screen. I am so jealous of your talents. I always joke that the only domestic thing about me is that I live indoors.

  2. I love the recipes on you have put together! Sweet potato, cinnamon rolls and all that good stuff!!!!!

The home tour is so simple and not cluttered all around! Cannot stand a bunch of things hanging all around – makes me claustrophobic…lol…I love those little things that says Jesus and Germs are everywhere!!! You are so cute, Kristen! Thanks for sharing!!!

  3. I make big batches of pumpkin puree every year at this time and my girls love baking with them all year long. I love finding new recipes that I can use with it so they can expand their repertoire! I think they will love the upside down pumpkin pie.

  4. First of all, I loved your home tour video! You are such a natural, Kristen! Your house is beautiful and with just the right amount of fall decor. I loved visiting your home!

The baked apple rings with cinnamon sugar icing are calling my name! They look like a cinnamon roll, but have to be a little healthier, don’t you think?

Pinning! Thanks for allowing us into your home! One of these days I’m going to do a vlog – as soon as I get the nerve up! :)

  5. I love the Honeycrisp crate on your holiday shelf! That might just be because I love apples – there are so many varieties. Your video showed me that I do not have to “full on” decorate the house to welcome the new season. Just a few touches and seasonal changes with something as simple as hand soap can make it lovely and not overpowering.

  6. I want to try the pork chops with apple stuffing and the sweet potato muffins. They both sound so good. I am making acorn squash soup today – I love fall foods.

  7. Thank You for sharing your home and yourself with us!

Your home is very cozy and inviting! And i loved that the video really let us see your personality. You are very much like I pictured you from your writing, sweet and friendly.

PS: I love roasted fall veggies!

  8. I need to try pork chops with apples and stuffing. I’ve yet to try it. I’ve always been iffy about the whole apples with stuffing thing! Looks so good

    Great video!

  9. WOW! These all look delicious, the apple rings with cinnamon sugar butter are the best! I’ve had something similar and they are fantastic. I can’t wait to try your recipe.

  10. I don’t really have fall recipes per se but I do cook a lot during the fall. I guess because it’s so cool outside I like being warm by the stove. Well that’s my excuse anyway. :)

  11. What a beautifully put together video that was. I love the way you decorated your home for the fall season. I really love your dog–No-I do not decorate for seasons at all!

  12. Kristen, you are so precious! I LOVED your Home Tour! Your home feels so much like Autumn. I’m sure y’all look forward to coming home every day. My husband watched the video with me, He loves your dog!
Those recipes all sound good to me! Going to check them out!

  13. The roasted fall vegetables is my kind of dish! Thanks for the recipe. I decorate for fall also and it is so much fun. My favorite season to decorate for. I loved the video and you did a great job on your home. Very nice.

  14. I’m so glad you asked!! :) Because that first recipe made me think how much I think you would enjoy my husband’s Apple and Sausage Stuffing! Oh my, it is SO yummy!! I NEVER ate stuffing at Thanksgiving because I never liked any of the usual stuffing, but this changed my mind about stuffing forever and is the only stuffing, really, that I will eat:

(Note …. please IGNORE the picture. lol This was one of the earliest recipes we published before we had much experience photographing food and it’s not the easiest food to photograph anyway! :) )

  15. Well, you had me with the yummy recipes, because Fall is my favorite time. But then you showed me all the cute decorations and I’m officially needing to buy some stuff to get my place looking more FALL-ish! 😉
