Celebrating Loved Ones All Year Around – with BloomNation!

There’s not much that puts me in a better mood than fresh flowers arriving at my office for no particular reason. Do you ever get flowers just because someone is thinking nice thoughts about you? So special!

(Of course, my hubby ALSO sends flowers if he knows he’s in trouble, but sometimes, he sends them just because he wants to.)

So when I was introduced to flower delivery by BloomNation about sharing their Bloomin’ Love! campaign, I headed over to their website to check things out.

I discovered that BloomNation supports local communities by partnering with independent florists and showcasing their handcrafted arrangements. Every order you place with BloomNation is always hand-delivered and always created by a local florist. I LOVE that!

I also love that you can browse all of the florist’s shops on BloomNation, and view lots of photos of their arrangements. It’s so convenient to have so many options on just one website!

Here’s one from Kara Bala Flowers in Glendale, California!

Or how about this classic arrangement from St. Cloud Floral in St. Cloud Minnesota?!

No matter where you are or where you are looking to send flowers, all you have to do is pop over to BloomNation’s website and enter your zip code. Then pick what you like best – and you’re done! It’s as easy as that!

Whether it’s your children, husband, girlfriend, or boyfriend, it’s always good to remember how very important love is in all of our lives, and how we can all celebrate throughout the year, not just on the upcoming Valentine’s Day!

Here are a few other ways I celebrate the people I love every day of the year:

  1. Send a handwritten note
  2. Send an encouraging card
  3. Treat someone to coffee…or to a meal
  4. Give a call to someone you haven’t spoken to in a while
  5. Leave someone a gift card for their favorite indulgence

What do YOU do to celebrate those you love all year long?

Due to the amount of comments from all of my wonderful readers, it is not always possible for me to respond to each one. However, I absolutely do read them all, and if you’d like to address something specific, or have a question for me, please don’t hesitate to email me at Kristen@theroadtodomestication.com. I will respond to your email as soon as possible! Thank you for visiting the blog!

  1. This is the first I’ve heard of BloomNation and I’m glad for the introduction. I love sending unexpected bouquets to family and friends. I’ve done it before and they are always overjoyed…it’s a simple way to really give someone a boost!

  2. I love receiving flowers from my husband for no real reason at all. I’m also a fan of sending flowers to friends and family who aren’t expecting them! The arrangements from BloomNation are beautiful!

  3. I used to be really into getting flowers from my husband, but after our 2nd wedding anniversary, I noticed that the flowers were just there and I didn’t really care if they had been bought or not. Now that being said, I get flowers twice a year, so I’m not going to say anything.

  4. I love the idea the flowers come from local florist
I send lsimple little notes through the mail just because. Everyone likes a little surprise now and then in their box

  5. I love flowers! They are always a special treat. Luke will disappear and come back inside with fresh cut roses from the garden–they always put a smile on my face and warmth in my heart. I am so lucky to live in So Cali where i have roses basically year round. Your other make-someone-feel-special ideas are wonderful too. I have down each of those at different times over the years. But I have to say one of the most cherished memories I have came from complete strangers 25+ years ago. While at dinner with my new husband on our honeymoon, a couple realized we had just been married and sent over glasses of champagne for us. Years later, I was able to return the gesture with another couple…it was a wonderful feeling.

Making others feel special is always a good idea.

  6. Flowers would make anyone’s day better! They are just so nice to look at! Thanks for sharing these information about deliveries.

  7. I’ve found that picking up the phone or just sending a sweet text like “I’m so glad I have you in my life” can really brighten someone’s day. I lost my grandma a little over 4 months ago and I’m so happy I made those random calls from time to time to let her know she was on my mind.

  8. Oooh, those are so pretty! I love receiving flower arrangements from TheHubs, particularly those that are original looking (like the one at the very top.) Have wondered if it was a feeling that I “learned” from my mother, ’cause she’d always have a big smile the moment she’d have a new bouquet in the house, lol.
