Could YOU Be Saving Money on Your Heating Costs?

Now that we’re past Thanksgiving and headed for Christmas, we’re also headed for cooler weather! And just like we here in Florida make sure we have our air conditioners serviced before we hit the dog days of summer, anyone who has any kind of heating unit in their home is probably taking stock of it at this point. Better make sure all will work before the deep freezes arrive!

But in the middle of making sure everything will run smoothly, well…what if you could SAVE money on your heating bill, as well? Ask pretty much anyone if they want their bills to be lower, and I’m pretty sure you’ll get a resounding YES! So when Georgia from Cast Iron Radiators 4 U contacted me with this infographic, I thought it was a great way to kick off “Winter”! See what you think…

OH! And for those of you who are in the U.S., the current exchange rate is $1.51 for every British pound!

Home Matters Linky Party Guidelines:

We are thrilled that you came by to link up today! Here are a few rules that hosts and co-hosts of the Home Matters Party follow, and we ask that you follow them, as well.

    1. Please link up no more than THREE posts each week–try to make sure that they are new links that you have not shared here previously. (Exception: Holiday/Seasonal specific posts may be shared once per year.)

    1. Please take some time to poke around and visit some of the other links.

    1. Please take some time to check out your hosts and co-hosts on social media.

    1. We appreciate the variety of blogs on the www; however, the Home Matters Party is for links on matters of the HOME. Please link accordingly.

    1. We ask that you do not add other Linky Parties, Blog Hops, or Giveaways–unless you begin the party with a new project, recipe or post.

    1. On the same note, please do not add links of an extremist, political or strong controversial nature. (The hosts and co-hosts read each and every blog post linked, and will contact you directly if you have linked something that does not fit into the realm of the party.)

With your help, we can continue to grow the Home Matters Party! Thank you!

Allow Me to Introduce You!

It dawned on me the other day that I haven’t introduced everyone to the newest member of our family! And then I started thinking…have I introduced any of the rest of the family, so everyone can put names and faces together? Oh boy. I haven’t! So, here we go…

Well, obviously, that’s me there, holding the cat. Hey, y’all! If you want to know more about me, just CLICK HERE, and we’ll leave it at that!

On Delegating to Devices

Ah, the age of convenience! Or that’s what they call it, right? This “modern era” that we are currently experiencing?

If you stop and think about all the things that are possible right now that were never possible in the past…well. It’s pretty mind-boggling. And it can also be intimidating or even scary for some folks.

But I’m here to say: there is SO much to take advantage of! Why not make the most of it?

So I want to see if you are making the most of the devices in your home. These are options that are meant to be used to save you time, money and sanity! Let’s look at a few examples:
